We’ve been a little quite on here, cause heck, what a time getting a new business running on all cylinders in a time of COVID.
So much graft has gone in to shape & reshape at an idea we had to offer a 15” saddle that is lighter in weight & lighter on the wallet. We took great care to ensure that we offer you the very best.
Like our premium 16” WADE Saddle, we kept the 100% sheepskin lining. We did however change up the rigging from single to double (allowing you room to just as it is most comfortable for your legs) and rather built them into the skirt to shed some of the excess weight that comes with the extra layer of leather of it weren’t built into the skirt. The stirrups are aluminum with a padded foam at the foot rest for comfort & grip.

It is all good and well we think that we’ve made a great saddle, that fits most horses & is comfortable for both horse & rider. But can it handle a heavy test?
This here, is somewhere on the slopes of the Southern Drakensberg. A 140km trail ride over 5 days on the what is most certainly not for a novice rider. This route was rough (understatement). Our newest 15” trail riding saddle was tested to the hilt. It had to perform on all terrain, it had to be extremely comfortable, it had to allow the horse maximum movement to adjust to the alternating terra. The steep decent, the heavy inclines. Have you seen those angled tracks?!
