These hard working hands belong to Jaco Burger. He & his family live off the land & share the love for working animals, dogs & horses alike.
He is, hands down, the finest saddle designer & builder our South Africa has to offer (with over 300 saddles to his merit over the years). Much of what we know about saddlery & it’s build, was learnt while watching him work. And in doing so, has sparked the desire to take on the heady task of producing premium riding pieces of our own. You aren’t just a saddle maker. You are an artist first, a leather craftsmen & an outright tough tug for giving this elegantly technical piece a go.
He has been the Mr Miyagi to our Karate Kid when starting out, and we are so grateful to have had his valued input into, especially, the foundations of the WADE on offer.
