Linocut printmaking is a craft that has held our attention for some time. Eager to test our hand at it, we carved & printed these by hand. This makes each one unique with characteristic “printer’s flaws”. The fabric is a cotton type, and we took care to stamp each delicate lino print on.

Linocut printmaking is a craft that has held our attention for some time. Each stamp carved is based on a veld flower picked on the Boschberg mountain slopes. Eager to test our hand at it, we carved & printed these by hand. This makes each one unique with characteristic “printer’s flaws”. The fabric is a soft cotton-type, and we took care to stamp each delicate lino print on.

| Care Instructions | Each artwork is printed by hand using our carved linocut blocks on a 100% natural cotton or a cotton / linen blend. They are printed with oil-based inks to secure them, and when ironing after a wash, make sure not to iron directly onto the print & rather use a press cloth. Take care to wash only the spots with a gentle hand soap, and dry each piece out of direct sunlight in order to preserve the integrity of the colours. |
